I am from Bangladesh. I am divorced and i have a son (9yrs old). My son lives with his father in USA. Now I am willing to apply for Immigration to Canada. Do I need to declare about my son? and what if i declare about my son because i will need to submit valid passport and Medical Report for him even if he is not accompanying me. I do not have any contact with my ex-husband and it is impossible for me to provide my son's valid passport and medical report. and its mention-worthy that my son a patient of Cerebral Palsy and he is under medication.

please suggest me whether i should mention in my application that i have a child?

can i include him later on after my immigration process if i don't declare about him now?

No, you cannot. If you have any intent to bring this son to Canada, you have to declare him right away.
His medical condition also complicates matters, you will have to prove that he will not be a burden on health costs.

Yes you must declare him because if you do not and they find out you have "misrepresented" yourself - that can have very serious consequences.

And no you will not be able to include him at a later date if you do not declare him now. Many divorced spouses have acrimonious situations with their ex-spouse and/or little to no contact. That all has to be explained in detail as well as proof that you have attempted to access the required information. Whatever other documents you have for your son - birth certificate, registrations, baptismal document, custody documents - you can include. You can also get a legal affidavit to include in your application to confirm your circumstances. IRCC knows that there can be problems like this and as long as you clearly and specifically address any issues in your application so that they can connect the dots you should be fine.

You do not want to omit this as it would be the same as lying from their perspective. As stated above the consequences for you and your son's possible future with you, could be jeopardized.

You must mention your son in your application even if he is not accompanying you. You will be asked to provide scans of his passport, birth certificate, medical exam.
If you fail to mention him, and they found out later on, you are at risk of losing your PR status because of misrepresentation. You also will never be able to sponsor him.
If you do mention him but can not get his documents/medical exam, then you should explain your situation to IRCC and hope that they agree to process your case. If they did agree, they will ask you to sign a declaration stating you can never sponsor him in future because he didnt sit the medical exam now. There is a big possibility they will keep on asking you for his documents and medicals even if you tell them you wont sponsor him. IRCC tries their best to approve stable immigrants and in their eyes if anything happens to your ex then you should be able to sponsor your son, which is the ideal scenario that you should try your best to achieve in my opinion
Good luck
