DO I NEED TO APPLY FOR TRV AFTER GETTING MY OPEN WORK PERMIT?

Hi Everyone i need your knowledge!

I already got my Open Work Permit last month but confused if I also need to apply for a TEMPORARY RESIDENT VISA (TRV). Do I need to apply also for TRV?

Appreciate your help.

If you are not from a visa exempt country, you will need a TRV to reenter Canada when you fly out.
You dont necessarily need a TRV if you dont plan to leave Canada or just goto US by road.
But its a good idea to keep a valid TRV, in case theres an emergency to fly

Thanks for the reply. You're right, I will apply just in case I want to go out of the country.
