Do I need LMIA to apply for AINP in Employer-Driven Stream?

Hi, all,

I'm holding a spouse open work permit and working for an employer who is willing to support my immigration. But I have a question that do I need LIMA to apply for Alberta PNP in Employer-Driven Stream? The AINP website is a bit confusing saying: showing either LMIA or LMIA exemption to prove that my employer has the authorization of hiring a foreign worker. I have open work permit which allows me to work for my employer, isn't that a proof of LMIA exemption??

Thank you all

"Clearly show the need for the position and that you have made a significant effort to hire a Canadian or permanent resident of Canada for the position only if the Candidate is not currently working in Alberta (is abroad)."

The above statement means I do not have to ask my employer to post the ad??
The above statement means this Employer-Driven Stream is designed for the person like me, who is already working for a local employer, does not need a LMIA?

Thank you!
