DO I NEED IELTS FOR MY SPOUSE FOR EXPRESS ENTRY

Hi There:

I am trying to create my profile for EE and i have ielts S:7 W: 6 L:6.5 R: 6.5
I'm married - my wife does not have IELTS done yet. When I go to finish my EE profile it said i am INELIGIBLE.What could be the reason for that? Does my wife need ILETS score to be eligible for EE? Meaning both need ielts for eligibiliy for EE?

Any help would be appriciated.

The spouse IELTS is not mandatory. It helps increasing your CRS but its absence shouldn't make you ineligible.

You do not need your wife's ielts to be elegible.

There is something else that is causing you to be inelegible.

You should retake IELTS.
Anything less than 6.5 is not acceptable. You have 6 in writing.
Try to calculate your CRS score here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

No that not correct. it says CLB Level 7 which is minimum 6 in any band in ilets.
