Do I need a work permit?

I worked online in my home out of China. I am working as an online marketing manager. the company is in another big city in China. I am paying taxes in that Chinese city like a normal worker in China. I am applying for a visitor VISA and coming to Canada. Do I need a work permit in Canada? The company's customer is totally in China and my work is totally online.

As long as the customers are not Canadian and the company does no business in Canada, you can work online in Canada without a work permit.
