Do I need a transit visa for a layover in Montreal (YUL) if I have student permit?

Hi everyone,
I am an international student . I have a Canadian student permit and my final destination is Calgary with a stop in Montreal (connected flight) . The duration of stay at Montreal airport is less than 24 hrs. The flight route is [Qatar-->Montreal-->Calgary] . I have a Pakistani passport. Do I need a transit visa for my stay in Montreal?

Montreal is too in Canada , you do not need to have any Transit Visa as you already have a Canadian VISA .

You do not need a transit visa but keep in mind you will clear immigration and customs in Montreal so be prepared for that. You will collect luggage in Montreal for a customs check then depending when your connecting flight is , hopefully 2/3 hours minimum, drop it off at a connections desk for the domestic flight to Calgary.
