Do I need a Police Certificate (Nigerian Citizen living in Canada since I was 17)?

Hi everyone,

So I moved to Canada when I was 17 (in 2012) to start University on a study permit and I've been here ever since. My family is back in Nigeria and I have gone back to Nigeria for Christmas breaks here and there but I have primary lived here in Canada. I got invited to apply for a permanent residency and I was wondering do I need to get a police certificate from the Nigerian police? Although I am still a Nigerian citizen, I haven't lived there since I turned 18 as I have been here in Canada as both a student and a worker.

Have you spent more than 6 months in Nigeria (cumulative) since the age of 18?

Then you must get a Nigerian PCC.
