Do I need a medical exam if Im from Mexico?

So I'm waiting for my visa to come in the mail any day now but I read on another thread that usually you need a Medical Exam.

I thought Mexican Nationals didn't need a Med exam. I applied for visa without one and was approved. Wouldn't they have denied my app and told me my med exam was missing? In the CIC website it says Mexico is not required to present it. My job will be as Front Desk Clerk at a hotel for two years.

I want to know the following.
Will I be told to get a Med Exam if I need one or do I need to just get one regardless?
How much is does it cost in mexican pesos, CAD or USD?
How long does it take?

Please help urgent.

I know about this list and it says Mexicans dont need a Medical. But my stay in canada is for more than six months so Im a little confused if I should or if im ok not taking it. I just dont want to arrive in Canada and then have the agent ask for it. Have you gone thru this and did they give you back the results the same day?
