Question for people who successfully applied for their first passport regarding the "document to support identity":
When I go to a passport centre to apply in person, is it sufficient that I show my driver's licence or do they want to keep the proof-of-ID document while processing the application?
If the latter, I'd better bring a copy ... but as the guarantor would need to sign that copy, I need to know in advance.
Thanks!
