Do I have to stay in Canada till I get the PR Card?

Hello Guys!

Could you please let me know, If I have to stay in Canada till I receive the PR card. Or Can I just do the landing & return back in 7 days, & let me relatives DHL the PR acards to me.

Could there be any complications after landing in getting the PR Card. Delay in getting the PR Card?

Not a problem. Your relatives can send it thru courier.
However, it is not advised by CIC & neither do inform the IO at the POE while 'landing'. 'Coz, in that case the IO might not accept your 'address'.

you have to infrom immiration officer after landding i mean after one week or less that you r living canada before pr cards you have to do proper paper work if you don't did and live canada there will be problem When you come back, plz check with senirs

i know someone who came back after submitting photos for PR card. but unfortunatly his photographs got corrupted somehow in canada so he was asked to come again or their visa will be effected, theyhad to go again full family for getting PR card to canada. so be careful!

It is always better to stay till one receive PR card. In case one goes back, he should make arrangement that in case they require photographs someone is there with authority letter and photographs to deliver at Service Canada.

why taking risk after going through so much of hardship of getting canada PR visa ,as far as i know it is a matter of only 15 days to get PR card , so why not to wait for 15 days,
