Do I have to inclide letter of explanation about me getting married in my express entry application?

Hi, I received an ITA for Express Entry last June, I've completed all the documents and all I need to do is to proceed with my application. I just have one concern, me and my girlfriend has already planned to get married on October prior to my application for PR under Express Entry, do I have to include a Letter of Explanation with my my application stating that I will get married on October? I hope someone will be able to give me an advise regarding this matter. Thank you so much in advance.

Single, but yeah, me and my girlfriend will get married on October.

Being married can reduce your points and so you should do it after your application gets approved.

Apply as single, and post marriage update CIC about it. You might get a chance to add her into your PR.
