Hello,
I am applying for PR under common-law sponsorship, and I need some help.
I did a medical exam last year in May because I was applying for a work permit, and I still have all the receipt from the medical exam. Now the PR application require for a proof of medical exam, do I still have to do the medical exam again or can I send the receipts from last year? Cuz I saw somewhere that says medical examination result stay valid for 12 months.
Anyone??

Thanks

Yes your medical will expire in May 2016. You can send in the medical receipt from last year, but most likely CIC will make a request to do your medical again anyways after the first medical expires. For quickest possible processing you should just do a brand new one and submit it with your app, so CIC doesn't have to put your app on pause later to make the request.

Thanks for the reply.
Would the same idea apply to police certificate too? I got it done last year in August.

Thanks

Police reports don't expire, as long as it's not from your current country of residence and you haven't returned to the country after the date it was issued.

For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.

For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.
