Hi,

I am on a work permit(Skilled Worker Class) and landed in canada on 4thMay 2008 and my work permit expires on 5thMay 2009. Presently iam working in canada and i would like to know whether i can apply under CEC(Experience class) category. I found a line on the cic site saying "apply while working in Canada – or – within one year of leaving your job in Canada ".

As iam working in canada as Full time Employee(paid 40 hours per week and skilled worker) and want to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence ,CAN I APPLY UNDER CEC?.

Thanks
Ravik

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
You need to have been in Canada for 2 years before you can apply under CEC, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/workers.asp

You can also look into applying under PNP, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp but your employer has to cosign for you.
