Do employers ask for your Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)?

I am the primary applicant and have obtained my ECA report from WES. I was wondering if my spouse would require to have his education assessed too. His current field is in IT Sales and has over 12 years of experience in the MENA region.

Are outlanders able to secure work without being asked for an ECA?

At their levels of experience, they wouldn't need an ECA for employment purposes.

I don't have an ECA (it wasn't a requirement when I immigrated). I've never been asked about my education when applying for jobs.
