I am trying to sort through what appears to be conflicting information on the PR application forms and instructions.
Some appear to say that if I am applying for Permanent residency in Canada via Spousal sponsorship, then all my dependent children who are going with usneed to have a medical exam too.
But page 5 of the 23pg guide to immigrating says only that "You and all your family members who are not already Canadian citizens or permanent residents must undergo and pass a medical examination". This suggests that because my kids already have Canadian Citizenship cards, that I don't have to get exams for them too. What's the real story?
Any clarifications from those with experience at this? The difference is $300 and the hassle of putting all the kids in the car for a very long drive.
