DM on Ecas but no Pre-arrival and PPR ?!

Hey guys,

I know lots of people have not even got AOR yet, but I am really anxious right now and I’d like to hear senior members’ opinions:

Here is my timeline for reference
Outland App. PA from Italy, residing in UK.

App Received 13/08
AOR 4/10
SA 4/10
BIOM REQ 4/10
MED REQ 5/10
MED DONE 15/10
BIOM DONE 22/10
MED PASSED 22/10
BGC in progress 22/10
DM on Ecas 31/10

Since the DM on Ecas last week, we have not heard a word from CIC. Not Pre-arrival, nor PPR. Nothing. I tried several times to call but its always to busy to take my call.
On Gckey still shows ‘BGCIP’ and ‘we are reviewing wether you meet eligibility requirements’.

Do I need to worry ? Sorry again, I’m just loosing it seeing that ‘DECISION MADE’ without an actual decision.

Our case is pretty straightforward: been togetger 5 yrs, lived togheter for 3, no kids, no prev marriages, age 26 and 24 yrs.
our appa was sent to CPC Sydney NS, but got all correspondence from CPC M, so we believe our app is still there and never left Canada.

Not everyone gets the prearrival services email. My guesses are its good. Generally if it was negative there would have been an interview or a procedural fairness letter or something. Im sure you can stop worrying - not easy i know!!

Thank you for your input! I’m just really really nervous lol. Althought I have been reading different opinions and everyone seems to think once DM appears for outlands is a positive, as without an interview or even asking for more documents you can’t be denied; I know our relationship is genuine and we sent over 65 different documents to prove that, the not knowing that that DM is 100% a yes, is killing me

Quick update:

Been 2 weeks since DM on Ecas and still nothing. Tried to call several times but can never get through.

Anxiety is killing me!

Aren't you from a visa exempt country? I don't think you ll get PPR. You ll directly get a COPR in the mail

She will receive PPR like everyone else but she will have to submit a photocopy of her passport and two PR photographs.

Hi! Yes I am from Italy.
For PPR I meant a request for copy of my passport and 2 photos. I don’t honestly think I’ll get COPR without those being asked first as far asI’ve read other’s experiences ?! Could be wrong eh!

Today I called CIC and after 25252627272615 attempts I finally got to talk to an agent.
Althought she was super nice, the only thing she could tell me is that everything looks great on their side and that all I can do is seat and wait for the PPR. She said those words ‘they will send it as soon as they are ready’. Not sure what that meant.

Hi there - I’m in the same situation as you were! Dm on Ecas on Sunday, PA U.K., outland, sent to Sydney and transferred to Mississauga. Please could you tell me how long it ended up taking for your COPR?! Thank you!
