Pardon me on my thread. Me and my ex-wife got married in the Philippines. Moved to canada and gained citizenship afterwards but got divorced later on. My question is, can i marry from someone in the Philippines? What Would be the process? I need enlightenment please..

If you got divorced in Canada, as far as Canada is concerned you are able to re-marry. However, I doubt the Philippines will recognize a Canadian divorce so you likely cannot be married there.

I'm not a lawyer, but this seems to detail recognition of a divorce between a Philippine citizen and a foreign citizen, obtained outside of the Philippines. I'm not sure if the OP and his ex-spouse are both Philippines citizens, if they are, I'm not sure if this process applies?
From the little information initially provided, it seems reasonable to at least start from the possibility that they were both Filipino citizens before moving to Canada and gaining Canadian citizenship there. If so, the OP will probably still be a Filipino citizen and subject to the same conditions, especially as the new marriage would be in the Philippines. His CENOMAR will not come back as clear.
Maybe we will receive more information later?

If everyone involved is a Filipino, then I don't know if the link you provided - which details a divorce between a Filipino and a non-Filipino obtained outside the Philippines - applies. The OP should likely consult a lawyer in the Philippines since we are talking about Philippine law :)

As explained above, you need to have your foreign divorce recognized in the Philippines. From other posters who have gone through that process, it can be a pain.

The Canadian divorce is legally recognized in pretty much every other country, so the other option is to marry outside of the Philippines.

The site I linked to is in the Philippines :)
Also, because there is Canadian citizenship involved, this may be a a significant factor in how the divorce is perceived.

It applies. It doesn't matter that they were both Filipino when they married.
