Hello,
I got married while my PR application(inside Canada) was on process. I added my spouse name on my PR application and we both got PR at same time. Since she landed here,we are living as a roommates as she is not into me and she need sometime to settle with me.Its been more than one year of our marriage and she still not feel comfortable in seeing me as a spouse and now I think its good for both of us to get divorce and find our own way. I asked her to find other place and we are living separately for more than a month. I filed a divorce but she denied getting one and saying she want to wait for another one year as she don't want to jeopardize her PR status.
Now .question#

1.what was her PR status category as i added her name in my active PR file?( of course its not sponsor category)
2.Should I inform CIC righaway now or after my divorce?
3.Is her PR status at risk upon divorce, although she got unconditional, regualar PR?
4.Does this divorce will affect my future spousal PR file?

Thanks

1) She's your spouse (secondary applicant/dependant) for whatever stream you immigrated on.
2) This doesn't matter, you didn't sponsor her.
3) No
4) Maybe, it could be a "red flag", but if it's a legit divorce and nothing else suspicious then it shouldn't be a huge issue. It's not the same as sponsoring someone.

FYI I believe you need to live in Canada for 12 months to get a Canadian divorce.
