Divorce & its impact on Application

Dear Members,

Kindly note that I applied with my spouse and my Points should be 70 at the time of submitting my application including 5 points for my wife IELTS and now I am going to divorce.... what will be the procedure to inform CIC about change in status and what will happened to my application.

I submitted application in Dec when total experience was 3 years 11 months which will give 12 points but now I have more than 4 years experience.

Will visa office consider 2 additional points for 4 years experience or they will only consider experience at the time of submitting application.

Need your kind suggestions and advise in this regard.

1. Experience at the time of the application is locked in. If your wife withdraws or divorces, and you have less than 67 points, you can expect a refusal.
