How early is it safe to get divorced after the conditional period is over? Not just filed, but actually finished. Any cases of people doing so before one year and having issues with immigration?

Once Condition 51 is removed, on your 2 year anniversary, your relationship is no longer an issue for CIC.

It would only come up if you sponsor somebody else in the future, they look at your past relationship, and discover that you breached your C51 at the time (in which case they might remove your status), but that will be looked at the same however long after the condition is lifted that you do the divorce (since you've been in breach of C51 since at least July 2016).

Kinda hard to stay with someone when they get a girlfriend and said girlfriend threatens to kill you, wouldn't you say?
According to your post history, you moved out because your partner got you a dog that the building owners didn't like?

Yeah but the idea was him moving back in with me once that lease was due. Instead, he decided to get a girlfriend who threatened to kill me, so what was I supposed to do?
The point of C51 is that you have to cohabit together as a couple. It doesn't matter what happened after you stopped doing that. You moved out, you were in breach. You may get away with it, but if you ever deal with CIC again, they may discover from your address history about you moving out while the condition applied.

TBH, I think you were closer a week ago when you were talking about renouncing your PR (as you don't meet the conditions you agreed to), and having your new partner sponsor you.
