Hi guys

Below image (please open in a new window for full size) is a humble summary I have for myself. As you can see 4 provinces ask for a job offer and 2 of them ask for close ties to the province.

Now the question I have is if some provinces ask for a job offer and know that a federal express entry exists, why would I want to tie myself to them. For example, if I do have a job offer from British Columbia, say, why wouldn't I just apply to federal express entry and be free working/living wherever I want (since I have 600 points now) rather than tie myself for 4 years or so with British Columbia?

Just wondering!

Hi K4n4d4WS and thanks for replying.

because its their right to ask for a jof offer ot ties to that province or what ever they want.
Sorry but everyone know that, this is just an opportunity to discuss ideas why provinces make it difficult to get a nomination.

the reason is to apply via PNP is many applicants get no ITA via express entry itself, because they have not enough points
Again I gave an example to clarify my question even more, yet you give a general comment. We all know PNP exists to get you 600 points but if a job offer is part of the requirements to get a nomination then why do I want to tie myself to this province and not go with federal express entry

The problem with is that there are many immigrants coming from abroad who cannot find a job because of non-canadian degree, and/or lack of Canadian work experience, etc. Many smart people end up working in a restaurant, drive a taxi, or go back home.

Having a job offer can guarantee to a certain degree that immigrants will have a better chance to establish their life successfully in the target provinces. Also, having a job might reduce the number of people moving to other provinces after nomination because their career, residence, money are here.

Sure, you can apply for EE and live anywhere. But there are people who need extra points to be selected in EE.

I am not giving a general comment and next time read my comment better

If you have not enough EE-points then PNP is sometimes the only option to get PR
and then it does not matter if you have a job offer or not (this is the only reason to go via PNP)

The other reason is that the reqiurements sometime are not so high for PNP
for example: english, NOC occupation C or age (it depends on the province)

If you would just go with federal express entry maybe you get never an ITA

Furthermore if possible federal express entry is always the best option.

But if i am honest, i think you question is like the "catch 22 problem" and useless

SORRY but its my opinion about this
I am just gonna ask you to stop there because you are just very rude.

Thanks

I find a lot of rationale in this opinion; I guess you're right especially if you have a regulated job with tough requirement like physicians

Hey Man,

totally agree with u.

Even for people who studied here, to get SINP u need to get Job Offer. The person is useless in work force for the province without job offer

I have no clue why people who do not even live in canada complain that "u need job offer" to immigrate

Sorry the most unbelievable comment. So in your opinion people who study in Canada should work in fast food -screw that. Instead of seeking easy way to immigrate, u guys come over, study, pay for your education yourself, than get a job than immigrate
