I know this is some what of a stupid question because people with degrees are finding it hard to find employment in Canada. But I would still like to know...

I have a New Zealand national diploma in business L5. Is that of any use in Canada? Is it looked as skilled? I have 2yrs experience as a business admin in NZ. Point is will that be able to land me a job ...any kind of job?

NZ and Canadian study structure is quite similar. I think it will be pretty helpful for you. Are you currently inside Canada ?

Getting job is quite easy in Canada even if you have some sort of exp. but when it comes to LMIA, very few employers are willing to help with LMIA. If you are already going to Canada may be you can talk to some employer and pay for LMIA fee. That way can be easier I guess.

Paying the employer to process your LMIA, any fee of it; is totally illegal. The only fee you have to pay is when you apply for your work permit.

As alwayshappy has mentioned that paying fee for LMIA is illegal. That is correct, however, most of the employers are not willing to hire just because they can not afford to pay for LMIA $1000 fee which is quite unaffordable for business. If you talk to employer face to face may be you can ask employer that you will be happy to pay LMIA $1000 fee, that is the only way to make employer happy to get a job. However, offering money if you are not in Canada may be not a good option. You may be scammed or if employer is too honest, may not like it.

This option is only good if you in Canada.
