hi
my husband is currently in canada on closed worked permit(lmia) since two months. he is willing to apply my visa but we’re confused. my questions are
1. we should apply for visitor visa first n than apply sowp after entering canada or directly apply for swop
2. do we need to show funds for visitor visa .?
3. how to show intends to go back if we have low funds in bank accounts

Assume your husband works in NOC 0, A or B which is necessary to qualify for SOWP. You should apply for SOWP unless you truly are trying to only visit him for a short holiday and have extremely strong ties to home like longterm job, property, etc. then you could apply for a TRV. You should have enough funds to show that you can support another person in Canada and support yourselves in case of an emergency. Depends on what you define as low funds.
