Hi Guys,
The Case:
My sister got accepted at Humber college in Canada for 4 years Bachelors Program. She got her passport stamped. Her passport was expiring on Feb 22 2022 so she only got her study permit until that date.
She then changed her program from 4 years Bachelors program to a 2-year diploma program at the same college (Humber college itself).
She also got a new passport that is valid for 10 years from now.
She will be arriving in Canada in January 2022.
Questions:
1) Does she need to inform IRCC now that she has changed her program at the same college? (please bear in mind that she got her passport stamped with the 4 years bachelors program and has changed to a 2-year diploma at Humber College) If yes, then how?
2) Since there is a change of program involved (while the college is the same), does she need to reapply for a student visa?
3) Since her study permit is only valid till Feb 2022, when does she need to apply for an extension?
