Hi guys,

I am a registered nurse working fulltime in canada for 2.5 years, still contiuing on the same position. My application under FSW-2 is under process at buffalo, already 16 months over.No much communication from visa office these days.I just wonder whether i should apply under experienced class or wait with the current application.Do anybody have any idea how long would it take for FSW- 2 category to get PR?I really appreciate all the replies.

It is hard to say how long anything will take in the future, given the reorganizations and closures that are taking place. And if you didn't already know, the Buffalo office is now closed, your application has likely been transferred to CPP-Ottawa:

You could apply through CEC, but it's really hard to predict what's going to happen to processing times now.

If you happen to be in Ontario and a work permit is a concern, you might want to consider the PNP program.
