Haven't found an answer, let alone this question being asked yet: When applying for a visitor extension as a US Citizen to stay longer in Canada it requires a "digital photo" can this just be a headshot from my camera against a white wall, good lighting, looking ahead, etc.. or must it be from a passport photo place - like Shoppers Drug Mart or something.
I keep seeing stats etc for digital photo requirements but nothing that says that it CANNOT be a cellphone photo etc. I would suspect it would say, "It has to be from a passport photo place" if it had to be.
For now, I did a pretty decent job I think, buuuut don't wanna get refused for something so simple! The reason I ask before just going ahead and doing it is because I am disabled and the last time I got a passport photo taken they made me sit on a bench that I fell off from just trying to sit on it, and then couldn't stand up from it - so I'd REALLY like to avoid that again if I could!
Thanks
