Digital photo for the application

Hey guys! I'm about to submit my PR application but I think I have questions regarding the photo.
As I understand, the application photo and the card photo have different formats and the application photo does not go on the card. And also, if while taking biometrics they also take a photo of you, you don't need to provide a card photo.
During my medical checkup I was asked to get a photo, so I did. The photographer sent it straight to the doctor but I can get it if I want.
The question is can I use/attach the photo taken for the medical exam when submitting the application? What has been your experience with this?
Thanks in advance!

Hey! From my experience, the photo taken for the medical exam is usually separate from what’s needed for the PR application. It’s always best to double-check the specific photo requirements for the application because they usually have detailed guidelines regarding size, format, background, and so on. If you already have a copy of the medical exam photo, you might be able to use it as long as it meets the application specs—but if not, it’s safer to get a new photo taken following their guidelines. Also, remember they’ll take another photo of you during biometrics, so you don’t need to worry about the card photo for now. Hope that helps!
