DIFFRENT DATE OF BIRTH

Hello Guys
My brother has been nominated under PNP and is applying for PR now,

But we have a problem,his date of birth on his passport and date of birth on his birth certificate are diffrent.

He was born in aug84,but my parents alterd it to july84 so that he did not miss out on the school year.

Till today his date of birth is july 84 in school,college,graduation,passport etc.
Till date BIRTH CERTIFICATE was not required at any part,but now it is.

NOW as part of PR we need to submit copy of orignal birth ceertificate,which has Aug84 as Date of birth.

we are really stressed and are not sure how to go ahead here.
In the checklist for PR there is a provision saying that if date of birth is diffrent,it has to be accompanied by legal documents.

Do we get the date changed with court letters

Please if any one has any ideas or suggestions please please help.

Apply for a new Birth Certificate based on your 10th passing certificate with the issuing authority..Dont show them the Old certificate and just tell them you never had any birth certificate and want a new Birth Certificate....By the way where are based from....

I don't know the answer to the original question, but I don't think covering up the error is a good idea. To knowing give CIC information that is wrong is lying - misrepresentation - and can get you banned from Canada.

some are suggesting that i get an affidavit made with the real DOB and submit it.
just wondering if it will work,my bro is from India.
