Diffrent between Marksheet & Transcript

Dear all,
can you please tell me the diffrent between marksheet & transcript...
and what kind information has to be inclueding in transcript?....so i can tell to university.

marksheet is issued at the end of each semester /trimester /year... in a particular format.

transcript is a summary of all marks (subjectwise) on Institute / university letterhead...

The mark-sheet is what you obtain after your examinations and reflects your performance for the same. The transcript is more comprehensive than the mark-sheet as it incorporates additional features such as the number of hours per week that a particular course is conducted, the number of years your course spread over and an explanation of the grading system followed by your college.

Is it compulsory to send transcript to WES. Can i send marksheets instead of transcript.

Yes transcript are compulsory. Mark sheet not acceptable
