Different year in ECA than degree

Hi everyone,

I have my ECA done from WES. I finished my degree in November 2009 but received my degree certificate in 2010. My degree also states the date of March 2010. When I received my evaluation it states 2009 for degree. What should I do to correct it? I have filled online enquiry form but no reply yet. I would appreciate if any of you could help.

Im in the same boat but i havent cared much.

I think wes writes thhe official last academic year on their report

Send WES email QUERY and ask them for clarification. If they have made a mistake, then they will correct and issue a new copy of WES REPORT

Hi rafzy. I just noticed it when I was creating my EE profile. I thought uIts better to put a query since CIC has been rejecting applications for silly things. I received a reply yesterday saying they will look into the matter and get back to me. So that's a relief.

I totally agree with you. Please do let me know what wes replies about this issue.
Also, in how many days did you get a reply from wes about your problem ?

Hi rafzy. WES got back to me within 3 business days of filling the online form on their website. They said they will look at my papers again. Even if nothing changes they will still notify me. That was September 12. Haven't heard anything yet but will get back as soon I hear anything.

Can you please tell me what changes they made in your ECA report and how much they charged you for it ?

They changed the year that I received my degree from 2009 to 2010. They did not charge me anything as it was their mistake.

Did they send you a hardcopy via express mail or via regular mail ?

I received it in 4 working days so I take it was courier. As I am in India, post can't be that quick
