Different Position with Same employer

Hello All,

I have worked as non-paid trainee for an employer for two months ( not listed in work experience) and later convert to paid employment ( mentioned in work experience ).

If i mention the non-paid employment history in personal history. Do i need to have experience letter for that one too ?
