Different Name

Hi All,

Can anyone suggest, how to deal with the situation, as my father has the different name in his documents as compared to my docs? He has three words in his name and his last name in his travelling docs is not available in my documents. Which name should I choose to fill out personal history section of the application?

From what I understand, You mean to say that your father's name is different on different documents.
You can use the name mentioned on his passport.
For multiple names, you can prepare a 'one and the same person' affidavit.

My documents are consistent with reference to my father's name i.e., "Qadir Hussain", but his passport has extended last name "Qadir Hussain Bux". Do I need to mention the name as per his passport or the name in my documents? If as per his passport, do I need then affidavit.
