My question is:
I'm residing in Qatar since good long time and my name on residency permit is not matching my passport name as they just translate it from Arabic and don't take it from the passport (spelling wise and no surname on RP), in addition to that, all bank account, job contracts and police clearance would be strictly issued as per the name on PR ( which again is not matching the passport name)
Do you think it is better to start a process to change my name on all official documents issued by the country I'm residing in or keep it and attach a letter of explanation. PLEASE note that changing it means that my name on the job contract and certificate will not be the same ( as the contracts have been already signed ages ago)!
Any opinion would be highly appreciated.
