Different in name on all degree certificates and government proofs like passport, pan card etc.

Hi,

I have my name "FirstName K" in all my degree certificates till post graduation but in passport and all other government proofs I have my surname expanded like "FirstName Karri". Does this require name change affidavit to be sent to WES? Kindly help me out in this regard.
