sure you can qualify for most cases but its not going to work if you studied to be an accountant and then say that you worked as a medical doctor. in most cases it is ok that education is different from job

I AM NOT A CANADIAN IMMIGRATION EXPERT SO I DON'T KNOW. YOU SHOULD SEARCH THE TOPIC, I THINK IT HAS BEEN DISCUSSED. GOOD LUCK AND DON'T USE CAPS PLEASE.

I guess it would be Ok. Except for cases in which you must be qualified through education to practice a job (like the eample of a medical doctor), I think it would be no problem. Will there be a problem if a medical doctor has work experience as a plumber and this is on the 38 jobs list and he wants to apply using this? If I were the immigration officer, I would say no.

you asked what do we think about these people. I am just merely saying that CIC will treat such people the same as someone who studied CS and works in accounting. I think its believable that people can do that, but i am also sure CIC might scrutinize the work experience just to make sure the person is not lying.

If its worth anything, i studied engineering and worked in a bank for a while...oh and in IT too (for a short while) and I am not worried about CIC scrutinizing that part of my application. I am only worried about the english proficiency part because i really dont want to do the IELTS.

thank you guys, in addition, say that if they are evaluating your application could they give you credit(points) for having that education while settling in Canada doing different work?

HI its ok.but as all says a doctor can’t say I was working as accountant or something is not related at all to doctors jobs,
My education is diploma in business administration so my previews work was as accountant part time 2 years.
But now I am working permanently as secretary.
