Hi there,
Myself and my partner came to Canada on an IEC visa and are now applying for PR as a common-law couple under CEC.
When we were filling out our separate IEC applications 2 years ago, we both put our marital status as "Single" as we didn't really understand common-law as per the IRCC definition, we're not married and where we're from you're either Single or Married.
Now that we're filling out the EE application, we've realized that we're Common-law and have been a common-law couple as far back as when we were applying for IEC. Will this cause us issues, that there's a discrepancy between our IEC and EE profiles around marital status?
