What are the discrepancies? Are you saying, on your application you wrote one name but in reality its different? Or did your parents change their name after you applied?I recently got study visa. After somedays, I checked my parents name and found discrepancies with adhar card or other I'd proofs. Now I am not able to understand whether I go for name change request or not. Does visa holds good after name change?
What did you write as your father's name in your visa application? It's related to my passport. My father's name is "Surjit Singh", but my passport has "Surjeet Singh". Now, I got my visa for studies and I want to invite my parents to my convocation after a year. Due to this difference in name how will I proceed further?
Do I put up a request now for the change of name?
OR
Do I put up a request later in Canada?
OR
Does my visa will be valid after reissue of passport?
When you say, its actually Surjit Singh, do you mean your father's pp and birth certificate say Surjit Singh? It's Surjeet Singh in visa details as well as in passport details but actually it's Surjit singh.
I'm not sure how the Indian Embassy would react to you wanting to correct your father's name in your pp, but recommend you contacting the embassy or going to the VFS/BLS (not sure who they're using now) and inquire about the correction being made.Yes, "Surjit Singh" is written in all legal and ID's documents.
Change request as in a change to your passport or change to your visa application which has already been approved?Alright, I will enquirie from VFS about visa. Also is it possible to put a change request later in Canada?
Change in PPChange request as in a change to your passport or change to your visa application which has already been approved?
BLS can tell you how and when it can be done.Change in PP
My father's name in my passport is Md. Abdur Rahim but in his passport, it was only Abdur Rahim
Will embassy consider this a problem and can reject the visa
I'm from Bangladesh
can you tell please ?
