DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPP AND GENERAL

In SPP we have to pay 10,000 in advance for food and accom...however if i do not want to do that...can i apply in general?

wat is the difference...seniors pls help.

You should apply in SPP for first time. 10,000 $ are not for food and accommodation but they are GIC,in place of loan.In SPP 7-8 lcs funding can be shown through GIC for supporting education,but you will have to show 22-24 lacs in General.2 weeks is processing time for SPP,but normally General files are also processed in same pace.If you are applying for first time then you should go for SPP.
