Difference b/w Duties Vs Responsibilities | PLEASE HELP

Hi,

In all my reference letter, my former employers and current employer stated as "duties" instead of "responsibilities". Is that fine? I'm confused between term Duties Vs Responsibilities

Here' the example:

Mr.XXXX's main duties were the following

• xxx
• yyy
• zzz
• aaa
• bbb

PLEASE HELP me on this.
