Diff b/w University Lecturer and University Professor

Dear PMM/Rupash/Bobby and other seniors

NOC code 4121 is for university professors. Does this catagory also cover university lecturers.

My spouse is working in university as a lecturer from last 3.5 year. Can she apply under 4121 or only Professer, Asst Professor , Associate professor come under this catagory.

I think yes, because I do have an idea that lecturers in the university carry out almost the same jobs as those of professors such as preparing lecture materials, doing presentations, doing research, giving lectures to graduate and undergraduate classes, preparing labs, supervising exams and assignments...etc...so it should be ok.

From my memory, i think lecturer is listed under 4121.
Lecturer is what the Brits call Assistant Professor.
