Didn't apply for OHIP and feeling SICK

Hello,

I sponsored my wife and she arrived in Canada 2 weeks ago. We are waiting to collect all the documents to apply for OHIP.
The problem is my wife has been feeling unwell for a few days (it's not an emergency but she's not feeling well). Since it's not an emergency, we're not sure it's going to be covered by travel insurance AND she also hasn't even applied for OHIP yet.

We're confused about what to do and need help, thanks.

Then you go into a walk in clinic and pay

Walk in clinics I’ve gone to have fees posted for non ohip covered patients

You’ll get a receipt and submit it thru to your health insurance
