Hi All,

My family has come to Canada in the month of July 2015. At the port of entry, they didnt receive any sort of document (Visitor Record) and just got stamped on Passport as Arrived.

My work permit got expired on 31st October 2015 and when my family is here (still with me in Canada) I have applied for an extension my WP and Open Work Permit for my Spouse and Visitor extension for my kid. All are got approved and we got an extension till 3rd March 2017 (issued from 3rd March 2016). When I went to apply for OHIP (Health Card) for us, they said as there is no previous visitor record for my family the health card will be effective after 3 months from the date of issue which is 3rd March 2016.

I was just wondering whether I can apply for their previous Visitor Record (which was not received at the Port of Entry) in CIC?

Any help in this regard would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Regards,

1, No as their passport was only stamped no visitor record was issued. Did you show OHIP the passport stamps?

Yes, I have shown them the stamping on their passports, but she was looking for "U" number on their passports to relate that to my work permit. Even that was also not written on their passports.
