Did not mention PR status in another country in previous application, applying again

Some context. A few years back, I got refused a temporary visa for Canada. Through complicated circumstances however, I was never informed I had at some point obtained a PR eVisa in let's say a 5 Eyes country. This document was never handed or e-mailed to me by the government or my guardian who applied for me. So, when applying for my visa, I listed down my status as 'Student'. That application got refused, but not for misrepresentation.

I'm currently going to apply for a study permit to Canada. My guardian recently dug through their documents and informed me of the eVisa that I apparently have. I'm happy to have expanded prospects now, but now I'm worried that I could potentially be misrepresenting myself. Should I be worried? What should I do before/during my application?

Nothing can be done now so just be honest with study permit application.
