did not get any response from cic

Hi,

i live in pakistan and spouse in canada. he filed my case in april 2013 and got response after two months that they got my application. later on they rejected my application on the basis that my husband filed the case for his previous wife and she availed the loan when she was under his responsibilty and she did not pay back the debt.so they advised to repay the amount. Also they atttached the form to re pay the amount and then process the application, my husband paid the amount in full and then we sent the cic islmabad copy of repayment schedule in feb 2014 to start my case again. its been around 4 months but we did not recieve any of their letter. what should be done. we should wait or contact cic.

When they reject your application. That would mean you would have to send out a appeal or restart the application. That being said, when you re-applied, wouldn't you have sent your new application to cic-Mississauga instead of chc-Islamabad. Since your file is closed in Islamabad due to rejection of case. I think you should contact cic.

its' important to know if you applied inland or outland. knowing this would determine if you are out of normal processing time...
