Did not get any mail from GIC..Please help!!!

Hi
I submitted my GIC application for to Nova scotia for opening my account on 31st May (along with other docs).
I also got the automated reply (eceryone gets that)

The automated reply says it may take upto 5 businees days to process the request and open the account.
I have still not got any mail from them, and its 10th June ???

Feeling worried..What shud i do???

Should i call and ask their toll free number..

you no need to worry ,some times it takes more than 15 days also.
as same was happened with me,when i had applied under spp .
even though if you call also, they not provide you anything.
rather then to wait only.

Can u share when did u submit docs for GIC account opening and when exactly u got ur account details?

It is too much time!!!
Which email ID you used to send your documents?
Also,share documents you sent to bank?

I used my gmail ID to send docs.
I got their automated reply also, on same day..
Docs are all fine..

OH! i mean scotia bank email id.
It should be newaccount@scotiabank.com

I sent these documents in ONE SINGLE PDF File, in the following order:
 Signed copy of the Scotiabank GIC Program Application Form
 Copy of passport pages with signature(First & last page)
 Copy of acceptance letter

I got my GIC Account no. after 4th day.

OH! i mean scotia bank email id.
It should be newaccount @ scotiabank.com

I guess the process is getting delayed cos of heavy rush..

Try to call them on their toll free no.!!

Ya,I submit application so early around 20 April.
But, meagan99(post on this topic as well) done his all GIC process in approx. 10 days last week.

I got a mail from then yesterday..
feeling realxed now...
