Did CIC call your employer?

Dear fellow PNP applicants,

Will CIC call your employer to verify employment information again?

Just in case I didn't ask clearly enough, I am wondering if your employer might get a call during your CIC processing stage? This is after the call at PNP processing stage, which is a preceding step for a successful nomination by the province.

It is very possible. Cic will do their own verification, Depending on the VO handling your case. If they suspect or feel something is amiss

my question now is, how will they get the employers number, since u didnt fill it in the CIC application

The reference letter must include employer number and email id.

If your PNP is " without job offer" type like in Onip or BCnp or Ainp

As long as, you are claiming points for work experience, you will provide a reference letter and it might be verified. But nothing to worry about. As long as your said employment is valid.

applicants before 2015 may not but 2015 EE candidates needs to provide work experience proofs (incl reference letters, offer letters any thing that proves your work experience). Yes CIC may call your employer anytime during process to verify. Some PNP candidates go through verification during PNP application stage and some gets verified during CIC stage. In case of FSW more often local VO will carry out this stage.

FOr instance NDVO applicants has been verified directly by CIC , they got calls from NDVO.
