developmental delay after medical certificate

I am applying under express entry FSW with my wife and son as accompanying dependents. We have got the ITA. We got an upfront medical exam done which went fine. However after that, during the last visit to my son's pediatrician, he was referred to Early Childhood Intervention as the doctor feels there might be some developmental delay. We are waiting for the ECI evaluation. I wanted to ask if we should update our application with any new information that comes up during the evaluation although our medical certificates are valid for a year.

It is up purely to you. You were truthful at the time of medicals, period. If you update it, it would complicate your PR process and there is a likelihood of being denied too. Hiding it would be misrepresentation, but either ways your PR is at risk. Unless there is a confirmed diagnosis of developmental delay, I would just leave things the way it is.
