Hi
I needed some information regarding the NOC for CIC EE category. I have around 5yrs of experience in administration as well human resource. My education is also related to public administration. I wanted to know the category of my experience for CIC EE. I visited this link on CIC site:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

Scrolling down to bottom, there is search area and i searched for administration AND human resource (separately). I fall in "human resource professional" category and it is "skill type A".

1. I want to know, will it remain same when i will make EE profile or their evaluation might change?
2. Do i need to produce/submit special documents regarding my job experiences? I have only work experience letters on the official letter head page.
3. What exactly is NOC? Is it also another document? I am sorry if i sound very childish at this point but i wanted to clear the confusions from you people who know more than me.

1- If you have the degrees and work experience letter that align with the description provided in the NOC you've mentioned here then you should definitely apply in this category because whatever information you claim in your EE profile it must be true and you should have proofs to back all your claims.

2- Here's what they've asked me to provide to prove my work experience:
"You must provide proof of work experience for your current job and for each past position you listed. Proof must include a reference letter from your employer and pay stubs, if you have them. The reference letter must:
  • be an official document printed on company letterhead
  • include your name, the company's contact information (address, telephone number and e-mail address), the signature of your immediate
  • show all positions held while employed at the company
  • include these details: job title, duties/responsibilities, job status (if current job), the dates you worked for the company, the number of work hours per week and your annual salary plus benefits."
Now, you'll need to submit "detailed" experience letters, with the detailed description of the duties you performed for your employer. (usually, experience letters issued in Pakistan are very short and not acceptable for the immigration process.)

3- NOC is not a document. In simple words, it is a list of occupations that are eligible for immigration. You just need to find the appropriate NOC for yourself and then, while filling in the information regarding your work experience, you just have to provide the NOC number with each of your work experience.

Hope I have answered your queries.
