This is an important information which is required by CHC, you can not conceal or avoid. It has an impact on your process for misrepresenting, and like someone on the forum suggested, can cancel your immigration/citizenship at any stage of your life.

Hello, i have a situation like this: my parents divorced when I was 7 years old. My father remarried. They told me he had 5 other children but I don't know anything else: I am not sure of their names, age, where they are, I don't even know if they are still alive because I had no relationship with my father after divorce. can I just ignore these half brothers and sisters and say nothing about them or is it misreprensentation? certainly I will never have to sponsor them because they are strangers to me. Please give me advice

Best bet for you is to give your father's name, but put a word "Divorced" in your relationship to him column. For his children you could give this details on an additional sheet explaining your situation with same explanation as given in your para.

if one of your half-sibling applies for PR at a later date and provides the same father's details. they may run a database search and find out that you had not declared half-siblings... this would be a case of misrepresentation....

A letter full of explanation will be a good idea. But, my best bet would be to find out their names and DoBs and put it on the Additional family information. write an explanation in any case mentioning that you have no contact or real relation with them. If you cannot find out their details, then write an explanation with whatever information you have about them.

talking to a lawyer to discuss your case may not be such a bad idea..
