The details are as follows

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot is an immigration program that is expected to invite skilled workers from overseas, and international graduates from institutions in the region, to immigrate permanently to the four provinces of Atlantic Canada. To expedite the process, it is stated that a Labour Market Impact Assessment — a document obtained by an employer to prove that no Canadian citizen or permanent resident was able or willing to fill the position — is NOT REQUIRED in order to extend an offer of employment to a skilled worker from overseas.

Three Categories Defined

There are three broad categories contained within the pilot program:

The Atlantic High-Skilled Program (AHSP), targeting candidates with a qualifying job offer for a one-year contract for full-time employement in a position at level 0, A, or B of the National Occupational Classification (NOC);

The Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program (AISP), targeting candidates with a qualifying job offer of indeterminate duration for full-time employment in a position at level 0, A, B, or C of the NOC; and

The Atlantic International Graduate Program (AIGP), targeting international graduates of post-secondary study programs of at least two years' duration, undertaken at a publicly-funded institution in the Atlantic region. Such graduates are also required to have a qualifying job offer.

I think this is a good program to apply for you just need 1 yr work exp. And your education should fit in for the employments requirement of the particular NOC in which you get a Job offer. And Job offer could be in NOC "C" class as well without any need of LMIA. And you could get temporary work permit also if your employer wants you in hurry.

Thanks for the link.

So if i understand correctly, for this i first need to get a job offer from an employer, right?

Issue is when we apply for advertised jobs online (through various job portals) employers don't even look at the resume the moment we say we currently don't have the work permit.

Just to try your luck may be you will find an employer who is willing to hire you because there is no need of LMIA. And other people also gets LMIA jobs as well so there is a chance.

You are right...

But LMIA is mostly got by applicants who are already in Canada, mostly either as a student/fresh graduate or are already working for an employer and their employer agrees to get a LMIA to help them with their PR application.
